Cresa Re-enters Minneapolis Market

Firm taps veteran exec to activate the new office

Cresa, the world’s leading occupier-focused commercial real estate firm, today announced that it has re-entered the Minneapolis market, establishing a presence where it has a history of brokerage and longstanding client relationships. Cresa has tapped local veteran commercial real estate executive Dan Lofgren, SIOR, as Managing Principal to activate the new office, which will offer occupier-focused office and industrial services.

The return to the Twin Cities reflects a larger, corporate strategy of investing in targeted growth markets across the U.S.

A noted industrial specialist, Lofgren joins Cresa from Forte Real Estate Partners, where he led their industrial tenant advisory practice for the past five years. The 20-year industry veteran brings extensive experience working with distribution, manufacturing, and engineering firms, providing turnkey advisory services from strategic planning to site acquisition and corporate relocation. Notable recent transactions include Specialty Building Products’ 400,000 SF relocation and expansion in Otsego, MN; Binks’ 150,000 SF relocation and consolidation in New Brighton, MN; and Nextern’s 128,000 SF build-to-suit lease and consolidation in Maple Grove, MN. He previously worked at The Excelsior Group and Liberty Property Trust.  Lofgren is an active member of SIOR.
